Flagger Force, an industry leader in traffic control, is currently hiring a Senior DevOps Architect to work out of our Hummelstown, PA office. 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior DevOps Architect to join our Technology Team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will be responsible for automating builds, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems across Azure and Google Cloud. This role requires a highly collaborative individual who will work closely with our Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams to streamline our development lifecycle and champion DevOps best practices.

• Design, build, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines for various applications, automating builds and deployments using Azure DevOps or other similar tools.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or similar platforms to ensure consistent, reliable, and scalable environments.
• Administer and optimize our cloud environments in both Azure and Google Cloud, focusing on performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between the Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless and secure application delivery.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git to manage projects, document processes, and control source code.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of our services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, providing timely support to development teams.
• Champion automation and DevOps principles throughout the engineering organization.

• Proven experience, including at least 5 years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong, hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically with automating builds in Azure DevOps.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) principles and tools.
• Strong experience managing and deploying resources in cloud environments, including Azure and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with project management and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience implementing automated builds that include security scanning (SAST/DAST), unit testing, and 3rd party library validation.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Steel toed boots or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• Five (5) years minimum industry related experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred
